A Mound of Thanks

| | Comments (13) | TrackBacks (0)

With the action of Book Three finally concluded, the first order of business is to give my deepest and warmest thanks to the tremendous team that brought it to life. This time, that list of thanks is extraordinarily long, but a few people deserve particular kudos -- notably the awesome story direction and experience design provided by Brooke Thompson and Jan Libby, and the amazingly flexible and unflinching production logistics of Robert Wood. There's so much more to talk about, of course, but it is time for this outstanding cast and crew of Book Three to take their bow: there will be plenty of time of additional meta discussions during the hiatus before the inevitible Book Four.)

I had a really good time with the second half of this book. A big thank you to everyone involved!

Wow - look at all the people! People who I thought had fallen off the face of the earth, but apparently just got sucked into making a lot of phone calls. Thanks for putting on another great story - even if your weather forecasting could use some work. :)

Well isn't that a fine howdy-do.
Good job everyone, thanks for the fun!

I would like to take this opportunity to inappropriately "good game" everyone in the cast and crew.

Looking forward to Book 4

So many familiar names! Great job guys! I really wish I could have made it to NY for the finale, but I had already spread myself thin with the holidays. Although I am glad I missed that weather ;)

This was long awaited, much anticipated, and you didn't disappoint. Thank you all!

"Nicko Demeter (actor) / Sacramento Forsythe representative"

At first I was like "waitwut" and then I remembered that Book 3 is still "Red Moon Rising", though the climax had nothing to do with a Red Moon :P

THAT WAS AWESOME GUYS EPIC PROPS TO YA.

PS good choice on source material. "The Mound" rocks :P

FYI... this was an amazingly well put together and thoroughly rewarding experience for something that was put on hold for such a long time. While I was REALLY upset about missing NY part two it was still a blast to be able to participate in any capacity and have some fun...

Keep up the good work as always guys and hopefully my random nightmare calls gave you some fun inspiration for all your future dreaming fun! ;-) You know I'll always be around when there's some fun dreaming to play around with... :-)

Many thanks to Brooke and Jan for very successfully pulling someone's chestnuts out of the fire.

and "Rance", really??

dav_flamerock Author Profile Page said (January 1, 2009 4:02 AM):

Actually, Dante, two characters in "The Mound" (teenage boys who vanish inside) are named Joe and Rance. So you can't blame the PMs for coming up with the weird name :P

dav: Sure I can :)
